TAUBAH
Taubah is the regret which occur in the heart when remembering a sin. A sin is anything that one does that goes against the will of Allah Subhaanahu Wata'alaa. For the validity of Taubah, It is very important that one must keep away from the sin and make a firm decision to abstain from it in the future by way of control oneself when it urges for the sin.
Allah loves those who repent and repentance has a status that no other form of worship has. This is why Allah SWT is happy when a servant repent.
Allah says in the Quran:
Don't despair of God's mercy; He will forgive you of all your sins. Al-Quran Al Karim 39-53
